Don’t Stress, do your best

The “Don’t Stress, do your best” is a Key Action 1 youth exchange project. Throughout the implementation of the “Don’t Stress, do your best” project, we have reached and learnt more about the effects of stress on our private and professional lives, and reopened ourselves to new relationships that we have neglected during the pandemic and confinement at home. Our achieved goal was to exchange knowledge and experience on how to deal with stressful situations and counteract stress. We have learnt to cooperate and find out what is our role in the group and how to develop our skills. We have opened ourselves to people again, and our self-esteem and self-confidence have increased.

The “Youth Exchange” supported the learning of how to deal with stress in the work environment, how employees deal with stress and how their bosses motivate them. We’ve become more resistant to stress because we learned ways and techniques to deal with a stressful situation, but also how to behave when stress and nerves take over us. Thanks to the knowledge derived from the project, we were able to be ready to take up professional work as effective, creative employees, able to manage their time and skills and make decisions under time pressure. The pandemic made us feel more stressed, but stress is a factor that we need to fight not only in a pandemic because it will not go away with it. Depending on the situation, we have to find the right solution.
